I really don't get it...
Like...
Not at all.
I am just completely.baffled by the way everyone is acting. Maybe I'm just weird... or withdrawn... or maybe it's just my personality type... or maybe I just don't get it.
I don't know, anymore... I don't know much of anything anymore...

Mah milkshake brings alla boys to the yard...
Riiiiight... anyways.
So yesterday and today were fairly laid back, uneventful.
Saturday, I got up at 8, and went to rehearsal from 10 til about 11:30. Then I went home and... hmm... I'm pretty sure I didn't do much of anything. Cameron eventually came over and we hung out with the 'rents, and then watched Kiss Me, Kate! downstairs. He left around 11.
Today, I got up at about 10:30 and watched While You Were Out while Mommy made French toast and bacon and such for breakfast. After breakfast, we started taking down all the Christmas-y stuff. Around 2:30, Cameron came over and about an hour later, he, Larissa and I headed over to Club West, where we swam and worked out and such until about 5:30. Then we came home and had dinner. At about 7:30, he headed home and I went over to Laura's to hang out with her and Nichole. We had some good conversation and stopped at Perkins for a bit so, it was fun.
Now, I'm at home fixing my calendar and trying to think of something to do tomorrow.... any suggestions?! :)

Time to fly!
Good night! Good night! Sleep well, and when you dream, dream of me... tonight!
Well, I had a very pleasant day today.
After sleeping til about 10, I got up and got dressed, took a long-ish, hot shower and had a yummy breakfast of chocolate chip waffles. After straightening up the kitchen a bit, I played on the computer for awhile. Then, around 12:30, Babcia and I headed over to the bank (where we saw Mommy at the ATM) and then over to Shopko.
There, we bought an iron, comfy black sweatpants and a cute sweater set for Babcia, and an adorable black cabbie hat, a grey, black and white striped scarf, and a pair of incredibly comfy blue jeans (with the coolest belt!) for me. After we were done shopping, we went over to Subway where Babcia bought subs for us and for Larissa for when she got home after school. Then, we headed home.
After I put away all the clean dishes and finished cleaning up the kitchen, I ate my yummy ham & cheese sub and then chatted with some people online and played Sims until Lara got home. Then, as it was around 4, I called Cameron and went over to his house where we hung out until Nichole and Travis decided what we would be doing tonight (hehe) and then we headed over to meet them at Copper Rock.
We ordered our coffees and talked about our days until Nichole and Travis arrived. Then we ordered food and talked about... well, lots of things. Laura and Cathy called and were going to meet us for the 7:20 show of Big Fish but, we were still eating by 7:05 so we told them to come to the cafe and hang out with us and we would go to the 10 show instead.
After we were done eating, the 6 of us headed over to the Walmart near Regal and played the Walmart game (which Travis and Nichole won... although they wouldn't have if we could've just found where that damned cricket feeder belonged!). Then, since it was only 9:15, we went over to Perkins for dessert, where there was a 30-top table which was a cast party from the ACHS production of M*A*S*H. Perkins was interesting and included a large amount of "SAY NO TO CRACK!" as well as the incident with Nichole licking Travis which led to him dripping white stuff on her. We left there around 9:58 and raced over to Regal (although Laura went the wrong way, so she and Cathy showed up about 5 minutes later than the rest of us), and bought our tickets.
We had to sit in the very front row (I never realized how large Ewan McGregor's... face, yeah, face... is, until tonight) but I thought the movie was good. I laughed, I cried, it moved me. Then we all headed home.
Cameron and I talked (yes, TALKED) in the driveway for about 15 minutes, but since it was 12:45ish, I figured I'd better get home so he went in and I headed home, which is where I am now, typing up this journal entry at the end of a lovely day before going to bed so that I can get up at 9 a.m. to be ready for Sound of Music rehearsal at 10. (*twitch*)
I really do enjoy when days are happy. As Cameron said, it's unfortunate that time doesn't stop like it did in the movie because days like today shouldn't have to end.
But they do... and so I shall bid you good-night, dear readers, and I hope that your day was as pleasant as mine. (Ugh, I sound like Dear Abby or something... lol)

Schools have had problems with snowballs in the past. In December, a child was mistakenly trapped in a giant snowball his friends were rolling in their school yard in nearby Niagara Falls. Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation was required to revive him.
-Snowball Fights, a Reuters news article
Sounds like a Calvin & Hobbs comic... how do you roll a kid into a snowball without noticing?
I bet they thought it would be funny... a joke gone horribly, tragically wrong.
They probably had to call in counselors.
It had to be boys, too. Girls usually aren't that dumb.
-Mommy, re: Snowball Fights

So, I heard today on the news that a woman is suing Walmart because the bagger bagged her purchases poorly and the bag tore, dropping a mayonaise jar on her foot. Supposedly, she had a tumor in that foot which was made worse by the dropping of the jar. Of course, her injuries and the care of them will be paid for by her husband's insurance policy but she is suing for 30k for other damages like the wages she won't recieve because she can't work and the fact that she can't have sex because of the injury (according to the retired judge on the news). Can I please drop a jar on MY foot and sue for more than enough money to pay for most of the rest of my college education? Thanks.
Suing because she can't have sex because she hurt her toe? Just spread 'em!
-Babcia (just imagine that said by a cute little old lady with a Polish accent)

Anyone remember that song? With the bobbing heads? No? Well, nevermind...
Sunday, I got up really early (oo 9 a.m.) to go to a meeting at work, got pulled over, went to the meeting, had a meeting at Copper Rock with Jen and Nick and Jennette and then went home. Then, Nichole, Travis and I went to Copper Rock for dinner. After dinner, we went to the mall and then back to my house before going to see Mona Lisa Smile (GREAT MOVIE!) with Laura, Paul and Jen (from work). Then Nichole and I stayed up until, like, 3 a.m. talking.
Monday, Nichole and I slept very late and then I took her home around 3:30 when I picked up Lara from Seton. I went to rehearsal from 6:30 to 8 and then I went over to Travis' where Laura, Nichole, Monica and I hung out, ordered pizza and watched Coyote Ugly.
Tuesday was another uneventful day. A bunch of us went to Perkins and Dollar Tuesday (School of Rock!).
Yesterday was Wednesday and I... did... um... nothing, I think. I slept late, I played Sims, I went to dinner at Fazoli's and then shopping at Shopko with Lara. I got a new purse and some x-mas presents. :) Speaking of which... when is the party?
Today I didn't do a lot. I slept pretty late, went over to some little building on American Ct. and applied to work at the new Wal-mart and then went to work from 5-9 at Vegas. I had three tables - 2 four-tops (one consisting of Adrienne, Cameron, Jay and Mrs. Fails) and a two-top. I didn't do too badly for tips (yay for having money to put into my gas tank) but apparently, one of my four-tops told Ben that I am not outgoing enough and I apologize too much. Well, I'm sorry, but I'm not the biggest people person in the world. I'm generally not 'outgoing' to a table that gives me dirty looks everytime I talk to them. Hmph. Now I'm home eating rice and fish. Mmm.
That's been my week so far... not very exciting.
Tomorrow, hopefully Cameron will come over and perhaps we shall go to a movie or something, since I am rich now. Hehe.

He calls them 'raging fires,' these feelings within me,
But there's no warmth nor light from these ashes that I see.
I'm full of sound and fury, but when I open my mouth
There's a pause, a breath, a hiatus, but no sound comes out.
I just cannot explain the way that my feelings are jumbled.
I may be full of joy, or I might think the future's crumbled.
Yes, I made a mistake and forever I may pay,
Because forgiveness is just bullshit and a word they like to say.
I'd almost rather if they screamed and told me in loud voices,
Instead of "You're forgiven" like a librarian fearing noises.
But I give up, what do I know? Not enough to keep my mouth closed.
I made a mistake, I won't deny it, but it was bigger than I supposed.
Well, I am human - what more can I say? It is our way to err.
Some of us learn from our mistakes, but will the others care?
Forgive me, if it's in your heart and learn to trust again
Because, as usual, I'll be here... waiting until then.
