Time to fly!
[Literary-minded] men choose Hamlet because every man sees himself as a disinherited monarch. Women choose Alice [in Wonderland] because every woman sees herself as the only reasonable creature among crazy people who think they are disinherited monarchs.

Time to fly!
Nothing to write about...
I'm a slacker... but I'm sick!
Yesterday was uneventful... slept til what I thought was noon, realized it was only 11 (yeah Daylight Savings) so got up and helped clean... wasted time til Cameron came over... wasted time til we had to go to work... went to work at 5:30 thinking we opened at 6 - we didn't open til 7:30... worked... came back home... Cameron & I ate... ended up driving him home cuz he was half asleep, so his truck spent the night at my house... causing my dad to be like, "Um..?" in the morning...
I can't breathe... and I can't talk... and I feel like crap... make it stop!

And I am home...
Anyways, so yesterday I went to school at 9:30 a.m.... which was, largely, pointless since I didn't actually have class til 11 (which Monica & I skipped) and so I sat around until my 1 p.m. class which was also rather pointless since it was all review.
Then I went home... where I think I did a lot of nothing (including a nap) until Cameron picked me up for work... OH! I remember - I was mad at Cameron because he didn't come with us on Thursday, but I got over it.
So we went to work and I scared people, and got squashed onto the sofa a couple times, and scared by the guy wearing the Michael Meyers mask, whom some kid said, "Hey, you're the guy from Psycho!" to... special people. Got home around 12:30, was up til about 1:30, cuz I'm dumb.
Got up this morning at about 8:15... 8:30... (yay snooze button). Took the fastest shower EVER and made it to Theatrix by 9:01. There I was entertained by the energetic children... went to a board meeting... and then drove Brooke over to SMC to open it up for Grease rehearsal. Then I went home.
After awhile I went to Perkins with Nichole, Cathy, Adrienne & Dan and Cameron eventually joined us. Once we finished chatting and eating and playing cards, I took Nichole & Cathy home and Cameron came over for a bit. It was nice to just be able to hang out and watch movies for once... But he had to leave for work around 5:30 so then I got ready to go to Wisconsin Singers.
I met Tommy, Nichole & Cathy at KHS around 6:30 and we got our tickets and sat around and waited til the show started. We suffered thru KHS' show choir and then watched WI Singers (yay cute boys with amazing voices! and yay Holly for being the blackest white girl I know! "Shhh... Holly's singing!"). Then I came home where I amused Lara's friends by dancing to Chicago and then Lara and I chatted about Burial Chamber (where she and her friends went tonight) and now we're having a sleepover!
So... I'm going to go sleep now! Gnyte!

Okay, so, I found this link in
nudebranchian's blog and it looks like an amusing thing to do so I'm going to...
this is called
Friday Five and it's a set of five questions that are posted on a site and they're just random, kinda... but random is good... and I know it's not Friday but I probably won't have time to post tomorrow
these are actually questions from 2 weeks ago because there aren't any for this week...
1. What vehicle do you drive? I drive a piece of crap Dodge Spirit from like, the stone ages.
2. How long have you had it? Since the summer after I graduated from high school - 2 years ago.
3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle? My bumper sticker - "Caution: Driver Singing!"
4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle? the fact that it's a piece of junk
5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now? a gunmetal gray Bug :)
Mk well now I'm off to type up my jazz review and work on my theory midterm...

LA LA LAAA! (like in Babe)
Mk, so today is Thursday and it was pointless to go to school.
I got up early enough to look over my notes for the quizzes in GBGM and then recieved a phone call while I was ordering breakfast in the Union from Nichole (who was walking down the hall) telling me that GBGM was canceled. SO I slept in the Union until about 10:30 when I socialized for a bit with everyone and then dragged myself to Jazz History which was, um... Count Basie Day. And then no choir... so I did what mommy asked and then she took me to Shopko to get my glasses and to KFC for lunch and then I went home and worked on my Theory midterm.
Now I'm about to leave for the UW-FV Jazz Band & Band Concert... without my boyfriend who is off to play in the haunted house with Jay. But that's okay because having a once-a-week boyfriend is the cool thing to do nowadays... NOT.
Grr.
Okay I'm going away now to drown my sorrows in bad music and Perkins food.
Ugh... I am PATHETIC!

Tuesday, October 21, 2003
Okay, so I started this post with the title "Monday again" and my first line was "Well, it's Monday again and I did a whole lot of nothing" but then I remembered that it's Tuesday. I think I've been licking the windows of the short bus too much.
ANYWAYs, so today - Tuesday - I didn't do all that much of interest. I went to GBGM where we listened to Beethoven's Kruetzer Sonata and dissected it. Then I went to Jazz where we had Duke Ellington Day. Then I almost skipped choir but didn't. After choir, Monica and I had an interesting conversation in the parking lot about getting an apartment next year... and people we know... and parents... and other interesting things. Now I'm at home and I think that Cameron and I are going to Dollar Tuesday tonight.
Yesterday, Monday, I didn't have Aural Skills so I slept til 10 and then got up to go to Algebra at 11. Then I had my voice lesson, after which I hung out in the ER for awhile before Theory. I spent the evening over at the Fails' watching Simpsons, playing cards, etc... we made a Perkins PIE stop and then I went home.
Sunday night... Burial Chamber was boring, I worked the intro room and spent most of the night reading the only book that wasn't nailed down to the bookshelf - Death Du Jour.
Okay, now that I'm caught up, I'm going to go finish reading Death Du Jour and then do my transcriptions and study for math.
