Friday Five!

1. What food do you like that most people hate?  I'm a big fan of things like brussel spouts, lima beans, asparagus... I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to like those until I started going to school.

2. What food do you hate that most people love?  I'm not sure... I like most foods - lol.  Maybe...I'm not really fond of pumpkin pie, and a lot of people seem to like that.  Until recently, I didn't really like cheesecake either.

3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you?  Keanu Reeves.  I think he is so unattractive.  Plus, he can't act.

4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find
attractive?
I actually find John Cleese kind of sexy.  Hehe...

5. What popular trend baffles you?  99.9% of popular trends baffle me.  I try to be a non-conformist.

Well that's it for now - I'm off to school!

Sometimes I get confused...

...but I guess that's normal.

Anyways, today I over-slept and missed Great Books 2 Great Music (oo, big loss..) and then I managed to get to school in time for Jazz History only to find out that class was canceled.  So I wasted time in the ER with Joanna, Nichole and Laura (and eventually also Matt and Monica) until Choir.  Surprise of surprises, Selina was there!  So, it was cool to see her again.  But yeah, choir was uneventful - we sang.  Wow.  And then I went to Shopko where I ran into Louis... actually, he saw me driving by so he followed me to the Shopko parking lot to talk with me.  A little disconcerting, that.  Anyways, so we talked for a couple minutes and then I went into Shopko where I bought PJ pants.  I stopped at Subway on my way home, got lunch/dinner, and then went home where I chatted with Mike, Nichole, Adrienne & Dan online until I had to complete my covert ops - make it look like we only have 4 cats when we actually have 6 so that the tax inspector doesn't report us and make us get rid of 2 cats.  But now I am home and I am talking to Mike & Nichole and just... wasting time til I have to go to Theatrix.

So that was my exciting day!

"Curse you, Aqua Scum!"

Anyways, we went to see Finding Nemo (again) last night.  We being Cameron, Jay, Adam, Laura, Adrienne, Louis and myself.  And then Cameron, Jay, Adam, Laura and I went to Perkins for Shapoo.

BUT, prior to that, I woke up in the morning and went to Great Books to Great Music, in which Adrienne and I twitched at the people who were reading Marriage of Figaro aloud for the class and decided that theatre should be a mandatory class just so that people don't SUCK so much at public speaking.  Then we went to Jazz History which was... interesting.  We listened to a lot of Thelonious Monk (aka Melodious Thunk) and some of The Modern Jazz Quartet (aka The MJQ) and then we got out early and then I found a Cameron (he had a half day)!  So, Cameron and I hung out with Laura, Monica and Joanna in the ER until we had to go to choir.  Cameron went home and we went to choir and sang and sang and listened to boys sing pretty and then I left.  Before going home, I stopped at the Fails and was going to talk to Adrienne but she wasn't there (she was at Louis' which I found out by driving past the apartments on my way out... surprise, surprise), so I talked to Cameron instead and then I headed home... where I... did nothing?  Oh!  I remember, Mommy was home so we talked while she cooked and knitted and such and I sorted out my scheduling oops with Jim.  Then I ran over to Theatrix around 6:10 and herded children into the sanctuary and gathered money and stuff and then I left.  I drove Jenny over to the Harts and Josh and his parents followed me there.  Once they were all settled, I went back to my house and waited.  Then Cameron and I hung out til 8:45ish when we left for Valley Value to see Finding Nemo with the aforementioned peoples.  And the aforementioned activities took place.

Today, I got to sleep in (yay!) and got to school around 9:50 to go to Ear Training where we sang and did harmonic dictation.  Then I hung out with Monica, Matt and Laura until Laura left and then Nichole joined us.  We had some interesting conversations over lunch.  Then around noon, noon-fifteen, Nichole and Adrienne and I went to listen to the group playing in the Union.  They were pretty good.  Check them out here.  Then I went to Theory, by myself, where I chatted with Adrienne and Mommy and read my Baby-sitters Club book (#10 Mary Anne Likes Logan).  And now I am home, trying to persuade myself to clean my room up (aka, make it not look like a bedroom) for the inspector guy who's coming tomorrow.  Rah.

And then I will be doing nothing but staying home tonight because... I have nothing to do... aside from cleaning.  Yay... not.

"Mondays suck."

Anyways, so today is Monday and like Brady said to me in the hall today, "Mondays suck."

I got up early and went to school to sing and warm up for awhile.  Then I had Ear Training which was pointless.  After that, I went and I dropped Algebra.  Then I hung out in the ER with Laura, Nichole, Joanna and Ron until I had to go to my voice lesson.  I sang (poorly... my voice SUCKS lately!) and then I left... and then I went to Theory where I was all alone for awhile until Melissa showed up.  I payed very little attention in Theory.  I was busy reading Fool For Love and reading Laura freaking out about Jason (sorry that I wasn't responding, the computer in there kept killing AIM).  Then I talked to Monica for awhile, after class, before running over to Shopko, getting chocolate and bringing it to Laura to help her feel better.  After a number of hugs, I came home and took my grandmother to the post office.

Now I'm home again and I kinda randomly told Jason that he should tell his source to make sure that s/he is "more clear" when revealing gossip... then he went off-line and I feel a little bad, but not really cuz he made Laura cry and that makes me mad!  Cuz I love Laura and she should have a wonderful boyfriend who never makes her cry... unless it's the whole tears of joy thing, in which case it's okay.

Anyways, so I am doing NOTHING tonight, with a capital N, so we should have a Perkins expedition.  I know Monica wants to, and probably Laura & Nichole too, so we definately should.

Alrighty, well, I'm off to finish my trashy novel.  People should call me so we can hang out!

I love autumn!

It is so pretty out today... sunny and crisp and the leaves are turning and it's so nice!

Anyways, I got home last night just around 12:30 (after making a stop at Taco Bell to get a Zesty Chicken Salad since I forgot to eat dinner before going to Burial Chamber... I think I scared the guy with my green face... lol).  I went to sleep after reading The Baby-Sitters Club #4 - Mary Anne Saves The Day (I'm re-reading the whole series... pretty sad, hm?), around 1:30 a.m.  And then I rolled out of bed this morning at 8:30 a.m. and got ready for Theatrix, stopped at McDonalds where I ran into Cameron & Jay, and then I ran over to Theatrix where I did an awful lot of nothing until class was over.  Then I took Brooke to SMC and opened up for Grease rehearsal before driving home, where I first dropped off Justun & Britni at their new house (across the street... that's weird...) and then went to my house where I was put to work raking the front lawn.  Once that was done, I came inside and have been reading and such since then but now I am going to go take a quick shower and clean up before Cameron comes over.

Byee!!

The Friday Five!

1. What was your first Halloween costume?  The first Halloween costume I remember is one of those cutesy little pumpkin costumes... I think I was 3.

2. What was your best costume and why?  I'm not sure what my best costume was... but my favorite costume was when Adrienne and I went in our fun gothy dresses and did all kinds of weird makeup.  I think my best costume was probably when I was 8 or 9 and my mom made my sister and I mermaid costumes.  They were cool.

3. Did you ever play a trick on someone who didn't give you a treat?  Nope... I'm boring like that.

4. Do you have any Halloween traditions? (ie: Family pumpkin carving, special dinner before trick or treating, etc.)  Well, we used to always carve pumpkins together and then spend the evening watching bad scary movies before & after trick or treating but now since I'm 19, I usually end up working and so my sister goes trick or treating with her friends and my mom and dad just hang out at home handing out candy.

5. Share your favorite scary story...real or legend!  I really am not a big fan of scary stories... but a really cool one is the one about Ressurection Mary.  Now anyone who's from Chicago will know this story, but for those of you who don't, check it out here.

Mk, so that's it for now... I have to motivate myself to go to class now... Bye!
