And then we went home...

Well, Theatrix is done for now... yay, and yet... not yay.  Oh well.

Yeah, I have done nothing today.

Yesterday, I went to the afternoon show of Aladdin.  Then I left and went back to my house with Laura where we hung out until we went to Little Shop of Horrors with Nichole, Monica, Mommy, Larissa, Cameron, Laura and myself.  Then Nichole, Monica, Laura, Cameron and I went to Perkins where we had a slightly unpleasant encounter due to over-active emotions, a number of misunderstandings and some long-standing irritation.  After we took Cameron home, we went back to my house where we watched The Recruit and then went to sleep.  Monica left early to go to church, but Laura, Nichole and I slept til about 10 and then we played Sorry! before getting dressed and leaving.  Then we stopped and got Subway before going to UW-FV.  And then she went down to the museum and I sat around in the lobby thru the show and then I came home where I have... done nothing since.

But, now Travis & I are talking on the phone, so I'm going away.

Bye!

Mk, so that's it for the Friday Five this week...

So far today has been uneventful.  I slept til 11... went to school where I sat with Monica and Dan and played cards with Dan... went to Theory... came home.  Exciting.

Perhaps it will get more interesting later.

Oh Happy Day!

Thursdays are generally fun days and today was really no exception, although I was tired.

However, I shall start with what happened Wednesday so things make more sense!

Wednesday I did the usual get-up, go to Ear Training, wait 10 minutes for Melissa to show up, etc.  Then I hung out with Laura, Adrienne, Dan and Eric in the ER.  But Laura and Adrienne were done for the day so they went home, but then Nichole showed up so, yay!  At 1, I had Theory which was interesting - not... I did my homework.  Nichole joined us half-way thru class.  Then AFTER class, Nichole and I went to my house (randomly).  We headed back over to UW-FV around 4:30 so I could drop her off at class and then be there in time for call for Aladdin.  I helped prep the cast for opening night and then I was done, so I hung out in the lobby with some parents until Nichole was done with class.  Then we went to Hollywood Video and rented A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lord of the Strings (which was supposed to be a spoof on Lord of the Rings but was really just a soft core porno whose real name was Lord of the G-Strings), The Music Man (with Matthew Broderick... not Robert Preston), and The Recruit (mmm Colin Farrell!).  It was only $4.12 for all 4 movies - wow!  Then we headed to Perkins, but, upon seeing Laura's car in the Shopko parking lot, decided to go visit her.  However, we didn't have to, cuz she was on her way to her car so we ran her down and made her come to Perkins with us.  After a fun Perkins evening, Nichole and I stopped over at the Fails' to say hi.  Then we left and came home where we watched all of A Midsummer Night's Dream and about 45 minutes of Lord of the G-Strings before deciding that it did not have the plot to keep us awake any longer.  So we went to bed.

This morning we woke up at 8:20 and dragged ourselves to school where we were unable to listen to The Marriage of Figaro because some mean nasty malevolent people checked them out already.  So we just reviewed the info from the first 3 acts of A Midsummer Night's Dream and the main recognizable things in the songs we needed to know from The Marriage of Figaro, ate breakfast and went to class where we both (think we) got 10s on both quizzes!  Then Adrienne and I went to Jazz History where we were confused by the way some trumpeters look when they play.  After JH, I went down to the ER for awhile and found out that Vegas Lounge & Restaurant had called and that they wanted to hire me!  Yay!  Then we went to Chorus where we sang and I turned pages for Brady and we sang and then we left.  Dan and I went to find Evelyn Lee's office so she could fax our long-distance Theory teacher our homework.  Then Nichole and I went out to my car and I drove her home and then did the same for myself.  Once home I found out that a) I don't have to go to Theatrix tonight and b) I get to take those English classes that I wanted to take but had to be approved for since I never took Eng 102 cuz I assumed that "Exempt from 102" on my placement test score meant I simply was exempt, not that I might be exempt.  Anyways, lots of happiness today, so, hopefully that will continue!  HOPEFULLY, I will get to go hang out with someone... :)

Tomorrow is just Theory, but I may go in early just to hang out with people... who knows?

Saturday is Going-To-See-Little-Shop-Of-Horrors Day!  I'm so excited!

Yay for good days, and lots of good days in a row!

Sharkbait Oo... bop ba doo...?

La la la... today was a good day and it will be a good evening/night as well!  :)  Yay!

I got up and went to Great Books to Great Music where we watched the first act of Marriage of Figaro which was actually pretty amusing... I may ask Tony if I can borrow it to watch the rest.  Anyways, then I sat thru Jazz History, which was uneventful but the stuff about Clifford Brown was semi-interesting.  Then Laura did my hair and she and Monica and I headed to Chorus where we SANG!  Then, since we got out early, I headed down to College Ave. to find the restaurant that I had an interview at, then I ran home & changed and headed to my interview at 3.  The interview was really fun and Ben and I talked about music and musicals and our favorite singers for better than half of the time we talked.  I would be so excited if I got the job!  I wanna be a singing server!!

Anyways, tonight I don't have to go to Theatrix and so Cameron, Laura, Andy and whoever else shows up, and I are going to Dollar Tuesday - yay!!

So I'm off to chat with peoples, eat my Subway and continue re-reading Harry Potter 5 until Cameron shows up.

Later!

Friday... why am I awake?!

I'm awake so I can do the Friday Five, of course!  (Actually, I'm awake because my scheduling advisor is a crackmonkey who likes to make his appointments WAY too early in the morning, so I'm stuck at school until my first class at 1 p.m., and it's only 9:15!)

1. Using one adjective, describe your current living space.
crowded

2. Using two adjectives, describe your current employer.
disorganized, but dedicated

3. Using three adjectives, describe your favorite hobby/pasttime.
broadening, drug-like, and incredible

4. Using four adjectives, describe your typical day.
long, tiring, sleepless, and boring

5. Using five adjectives, describe your ideal life.
quiet, happy, love-filled, warm, and healthy

Okay, now, for my actual post...

Yesterday I overslept (again!) and missed Great Books To Great Music.  It's kinda funny actually... I woke up at 8 a.m. and said, "Nooo I'm tired!" so I reset my alarm for 8:15 but I didn't click the alarm on (something I didn't realize at the time).  So I crawled back into bed and went back to sleep and woke to the sound of my cel phone ringing.  I went to answer it and, as I was talking with Mom, I glanced at the clock: 9:45!  Seeing as how my first class starts at 9:30, well... oops!  So I got up and got ready for my 11 a.m. class and headed to school in time for that.  I went to Jazz History (11) and Choir and then I headed home to get some stuff done before opening night of The Diary of Anne Frank.  I left home and went to the Fails' at about 5 (after stopping for dinner at Wendy's) and we played Shapoo until about quarter after, when we headed over to the theatre to reset the light board (yes, that's the third time.).  The show went off without much of a hitch... aside from George (the cat) trying to escape from his crate and dragging it halfway across the stage in the middle of a very serious scene... and the lightboard randomly blurting at me... it went pretty well.  Hopefully tonight will be better.  After the show, we sat around in the lobby waiting for everyone to leave.  Then I took Jay and Cameron home and went home myself, where I talked to Nichole and Dan online for awhile, finished reading The Baby-Sitters Club: Snowbound!, and then went to sleep.  So far, today has been uneventful and I am tempted to go back home and sleep until my 1 p.m. class... hmmm... sleeeeeep.

Mawlf!

SO today is Wednesday and, I know! I know! I didn't post yesterday.

DARN, live without me for a day, will ya?

AS if anyone missed my melodrama!

ANYWAYS, yesterday was Tuesday and I went to school where I listened to Tony talk about Marriage of Figaro in Great Books to Great Music, failed a test in Jazz History and sang in Choir.

THEN, I went to Perkins with Nichole and Laura where I ate food that I didn't really need.

AFTER that, Laura dropped Nichole and I off at school where I helped Adrienne re-program the lightboard (we thought!).

THEN, we wasted time until Theatrix (doing what?  I don't remember).

SOMETIME during rehearsal, Cameron showed up.  ONCE rehearsal was over (went pretty well, yes it did), Cameron, Nichole and I headed over to Cameron's where we waited for Andy to show up and then went to Perkins where I ate more food that I didn't really need.

AFTER we all ate and taught Andy how to play Shapoo, we went to Valley Value where we saw Pirates of the Caribbean (YAY JOHNNY DEPP AND ORLANDO BLOOM!), savvy?

THEN, Nichole, Cameron and I all squashed into the truck and drove back to Cameron's where Nichole and I got into my car and drove her home.

SO, it was about 12:30 before I headed home.  IT was really really froggy, er, foggy out so I drove ssslllllllooooooooowwwwlllllllyyyyyyy.

AROUND 12:45, I got home and went downstairs where I talked to Monica and Allan for awhile before going to bed at 1:18.

TODAY, I woke up at 8, looked at the clock, said, "Uh, no" and went back to sleep until 9:20.

THEN, I went to Ear Training where I sang and solfegged and such.

AFTER class, I went with Adrienne to run errands and we went to the mall where I bought a keychain that says, "Start walking.  You missed your little yellow bus." and we stopped to say 'High!' to Louis.

AT about 12:30, we headed back to school where she went to meet with Susan to be advised and I went to Theory.

SOMETIME around 1:15, Melissa and I realized that we didn't have class today (class usually starts at 1... nrr).

SO, I hung out in the ER until I found Nichole around 3 and then we went into the theatre where Adrienne found us and we fixed the light cues for Anne Frank again, or so we thought.

AROUND 4, kids started showing up for rehearsal, which went fairly well but didn't end til almost 9:30.

AFTER rehearsal, I came home where I am now entering an entry into my blog before going to sleep and getting a decent night's rest.

GOOD night!

and then there was freetime...

hahahah, i crack myself up...

let's see.. i don't recall when i last really posted so i will catch up on what happened this weekend.  friday night we played d&d (we being cameron, adrienne, jay, mike, louis & shannon) and no one got shot, which is good.  prior to playing d&d, mike came over and we watched dogma so that was kinda fun.  so friday consisted of school, movies & d&d (til 1 a.m.).  saturday i wasn't feeling well so i didn't go to theatrix in the morning.  in the afternoon, monica came over and then we went to perkins with nichole and cameron and eventually chris showed up.  then we headed over to appleton west to see rags which, well, was an interesting show.  some of the music was weird and monica and i decided that the strings didn't tune so that they could sound more jewish.  after the show, we went to ihop where laura joined us.  then cameron, monica and i headed back to my house, around 11:30 and monica took him home.  i went and slept.  yay sleep.  sunday i got up around 10:30.  cameron came over and was press-ganged into helping rake leaves.  there were so many leaves.  we raked from 11:30 until 1:30; i think we filled 15 yard bags.  afterwards, he and i took a nap til about 2:30 and then we went to cousins for lunch and rented drumline and down with love (with the money dad gave us for helping with the yardwork).  we got back home around 4 and we watched drumline and then we ate mommy's meatball surprise for dinner and watched down with love afterwards.  then he had to go home (by 8!).  once he left, i went to do some homework and then i watched law & order: svu with mommy.  i read until about 12:30 a.m. and then went to sleep.

so today is monday and mondays always make me cranky but you're gonna have that...

today, being no exception, i got up an hour later than i meant to and i dragged myself to school just in time for ear training - my favorite class.  actually, to be honest, i don't mind ear training... it's just that i'm not very good at it... and we had a test today.  bleah.  so we took the test and then we talked about cadences (yay something i know about!) and it made me wonder why melissa bothers showing up for school when she is completely zoned out constantly.  but nonetheless, i managed to make it thru class without getting too irritated with her.  then i went and sat with matt & monica in the e.r. until i had to mosey on down to the practice rooms to warm up for my voice lesson.  why is it that i sound good (or i think i sound good) when i'm practicing, but once i'm at my lesson, i sound like shit?  i don't get it!  anyways, so 5 minutes late, i went to my lesson (there aren't clocks in the practice rooms, nrr) and tony and i talked about how i'm not concentrating on school and i need to focus and etc and so on... which is true, i am slacking off a lot this year... i will do better, i promise.  anyways, then i sang and didn't sound too terribly awful and then i went back to the e.r. to get my books, which matt had told me that he'd keep an eye on, and i found that my backpack was just sitting there with no one i knew around.  grr.  so i grabbed my bags and headed down to the music theory classroom to check my email and blog a bit before class.

tonight i have to study for a jazz history test, listen to marriage of figaro for great books to great music and go to theatrix (anne frank) rehearsal here at uw-fv from 5 - 8.  talk about too much to do.  no wonder i'm not 'focusing' on my schoolwork.  but anyways, i'm going to go pay attention to class now so i shall continue blogging later because i think i need to vent.

I think there's something wrong with me...

I'm not enjoying the random sadness that randomly permeates my days.  I'll be sitting there reading a book and all of a sudden I'll feel this unignorable urge to break into tears.  It's really weird and it makes me very melancholy and anti-social.  For example, today I was supposed to go to Theatrix in the morning, LU Jazz Singers at 3:30 and Rags in the evening.  It currently appears that all I will be doing is going to Rags (don't have to socialize during a show... not really anyways).  But I don't get why.  I feel so disjointed... disconnected from everyone.  And I really really miss being able to spend time with Cameron.  All I want to be able to do is take 24 hours, curl up in his arms and sleep.  But, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

Later.
