Entry: Friday... why am I awake?! Friday, November 14, 2003

I'm awake so I can do the Friday Five, of course!  (Actually, I'm awake because my scheduling advisor is a crackmonkey who likes to make his appointments WAY too early in the morning, so I'm stuck at school until my first class at 1 p.m., and it's only 9:15!)

Okay, now, for my actual post...

Yesterday I overslept (again!) and missed Great Books To Great Music.  It's kinda funny actually... I woke up at 8 a.m. and said, "Nooo I'm tired!" so I reset my alarm for 8:15 but I didn't click the alarm on (something I didn't realize at the time).  So I crawled back into bed and went back to sleep and woke to the sound of my cel phone ringing.  I went to answer it and, as I was talking with Mom, I glanced at the clock: 9:45!  Seeing as how my first class starts at 9:30, well... oops!  So I got up and got ready for my 11 a.m. class and headed to school in time for that.  I went to Jazz History (11) and Choir and then I headed home to get some stuff done before opening night of The Diary of Anne Frank.  I left home and went to the Fails' at about 5 (after stopping for dinner at Wendy's) and we played Shapoo until about quarter after, when we headed over to the theatre to reset the light board (yes, that's the third time.).  The show went off without much of a hitch... aside from George (the cat) trying to escape from his crate and dragging it halfway across the stage in the middle of a very serious scene... and the lightboard randomly blurting at me... it went pretty well.  Hopefully tonight will be better.  After the show, we sat around in the lobby waiting for everyone to leave.  Then I took Jay and Cameron home and went home myself, where I talked to Nichole and Dan online for awhile, finished reading The Baby-Sitters Club: Snowbound!, and then went to sleep.  So far, today has been uneventful and I am tempted to go back home and sleep until my 1 p.m. class... hmmm... sleeeeeep.
